This sweet TWO year old!

I love when I get clients who I have never met before!  Its like going on a first date, what will we talk about, will they like my style, will they be shy, you know, all those questions.  Well this little girls mom made me feel just as comfortable as I hope I made them feel!  They were so sweet!  This little girl just turned 2 and she is going to be a big sister soon!  She LOVES animals and fruit snacks, and loved to watch the ducks walking/swimming around.

A night with the Horses

If anybody loves horses, its Jases sister, and she is passing on this love to her two cute kids.  This was Shawneys horse when she was little, so it was only appropriate that we found that horse for her kids to love on.  Despite my allergies flaring up like crazy and the mosquitos, I would dare say we had a perfect night shooting.  Thanks Shawney, I LOVED this shoot and how it turned out!

The Beautiful B Family

When this sweet girl booked me, I knew I would have a blast.  She has always been someone I have thought was just GORGEOUS.  Now she has started such a beautiful little family.  She is the sweetest, her little boy is so cute and fun and her husband is so nice!  They just got done with his doctorate degree and are now finally done with school!  I had such a blast with them and the sun and location was beautiful!

Long Update

My little brother Trevor had a heck of a season for Northridge Baseball.  Lets just say, they made softball when I played, look AMAZING! ha ha poor baseball boys.  In this season they won NO GAMES, hey but they lost all of them.  All of the coaches quit.  And on top of that I think Trevor is up to 16 baseball scholarships.(I lost count long ago)  WOO HOO!  He will probably end up in Arizona but when he thinks he makes up his mind he ends up getting another phone call of an offer.  We are so proud and happy for him.  These are some pics from their last home game!

These are all of the seniors.

Kendyl LOVES her uncle chebs!  oh, and that hat!
Here we are, Trevor, Buggy and me!  (see me rockin my baseball shirt!)
And Trevor, Bug, me and Jase!

So the other day we were on our way to a wedding reception.  We told bug to get ready and she met us at the door like this.  Hat, baby, and purse.  She is such a diva.  She will not leave the house without her hat.
 Here is us together!
And another variation of her hat!  seriously we love her personality, and she always keeps us laughing!
The other day we went shopping with one of my very best friends Courtney.  We just walked over to City creek.  I guess shopping wore her out cause this is how we found her.
A couple weeks ago my mom and I stopped at Petersen Farm supply.  I stayed in the car with bug so she could somewhat nap.  My mom brought out a little chick and kendyl woke up to the chick standing here.  Needless to say she kinda picked it up and was like yuck and moved it.  She then noticed what it was and loved it and was giving it kisses.  We also brought out a bunny and a duck as well!
Then we were clothes shopping with my mom.  While she was trying them on I kinda lost bug.  (bad mom moment) anyway, I called her name and she came running around the corner with this hat (headband) on!  We cannot get enough of her!

This little girl is 18 months old now.  She weighs 22.2 pounds and is now TERRIFIED of the doctor.  She saw that nurse and screamed bloody murder until we left.  Poor thing.  Scared her so bad that on Monday when I went to get my hair lasered she thought she was in a doc office again and screamed.  Thankfully Jess and Brayden rescued her and took her to get a slurpee and skittles!  Thanks guys we love you!  She is so so much fun and is a little copycat.  We have to be careful what we say now days. She loves counting the cars 1..2..3.. off our deck.  She loves to look for the moon.  She absolutely LOVES chips and salsa, and is learning to kick her legs in the swimming pool.  She gets the opportunity on Saturday to show off her cuteness since she has been picked to model for a boutique photo shoot.
As for us, were super super busy.  We have to ship our stuff to Florida by the 8th, and in that time we have a baby shower, Jase teaching father and sons on fishing, my sisters wedding, My brothers graduation, Jase gone to Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Florida, pack, pack pack...were super busy so if anyone wants to come help us that week we will feed you pizza and root beer floats! ha ha.  no were absolutely thrilled to be headed to Florida again.  Every night I come up with a list of what I want to do there.  So far
-Swim with dolphins
-Sea World
-Beaches (tons of them)
-surfing lessons
-Find a great beach workout
-hopefully do ragnar (Miami to key west0 or the Disney princess half marathon

Get in Shape...

{I am no weight loss expert, these are just healthy swaps and Ideas I have enjoyed while getting into shape} oh and obviously this isn't me in the picture...i found it on google.
  • Start with taking a picture of yourself in a swim suit against a plain wall. {I thought I was doing ok for myself last fall, Thought I looked ok since I fit in my pre prego clothes. After I took that picture I honestly cried, and that was the BIGGEST motivation for me to start doing something! }
  • Get moving! I dont care if you love tv, a good workout is get up and workout during the commercials. I do jumping jacks, lunges, squats, abs, wall sits, anything to get moving. Seriously its harder than it sounds and ends up getting you a decent workout!
  • Go on walks, go walk the mall, play catch, join a fitness class, sign up for a race and train for it, jump on the tramp, or be a kid for a day. {we were at the park yesterday and i tried to chase bug around and thought, no wonder why I was in shape back in the day, this is hard work!}
  • Make healthy meal swaps. Add more vegetables then main course. If you cant get away from peanut butter-spread it on celery rather than toast. Have egg whites for whole eggs, and eggs for cereal. Try not to eat out, if you do, limit to special occasions. Treat yourself once a week. Lets be serious, nobody can take away my frozen yogurt!
  • Portion Control, Portion Control, Portion Control. put your food on a plate and sit down at a kitchen table to eat, then be done. Dont just grab a handful here and there. My flaw-Chips and salsa. Before I knew It, I could eat a whole bowl of salsa with say 20+chips? Chips are horrible! get your chips before you sit down, count out how many you want and when they are gone, they are gone, dont get more. Its ok to share your bowl of salsa :/
  • When you reward yourself for doing something good, dont reward yourself with food. Go get a cute new shirt, or a pedicure, or take a nice hot bath.
  • Remember, you have to walk the legnth of a football field to burn off 1 m&m, sounds not to bad, but wait til you eat a bag of them, you will have to walk a couple miles to burn those off.

back to Utah

Well where do I start!? Two weeks ago we left Jase in Idaho and kendyl and I moved back home so we could help his mom cook on the ranch. It was so fun to cool for Pauls groups. The first week we had attorneys and Management trainees! I got to see Eric Jacobsen, David Wright and so many other people. It was like a reunion. I was kind of worried to bring Kendyl to cook because during meetings we have to be so quiet, and every little noise it just echos through the lodge. Can you believe how good she was!? she just sat in her chair and watched us and was the PERFECT baby!

Then Bishop Mcmullin and Bishop Burton came up with their families, so Shawney took her on a mini pony ride!

then after 2 weeks of hard hard work we headed to Bear Lake with my family! It was so fun and we loved it! The water was so high and a little too cold for Kendyl so good thing we had a pool at our place!

We did lots of boating and Kendyl enjoyed it a lot. She is going to be a water baby and love it like I do!

But then the boat rocked her to sleep every time! It almost got to to point we went on boat rides just to make her take a nap.

So Jase and I took some pictures...

And then kendyl and I took so pictures on the beach!

We had a blast and Kendyl LOVED the sand! She gave herself a pedicure in it! We cannot wait to go again!

So anyway, we have all finally moved back to Ogden/Layton/wherever we can find a bed to stay in! We are officially living out of 3 suitcases and a laundry basket. My clothes never match, and I literally just grab whatever is on top. Despite this awkward living situation, I am thrilled to have my friendships back and be able to go see whoever whenever! So call me up and we can go on lunch dates, go swimming and the whole shabang!
