Good Bye Idaho

We have been oacking like wild indians trying to get out of Idaho. We have no tv, couch, plates, toys and Kendyl is having fun sitting on boxes throughout the house. The weather has been so nice which is very odd for idaho. We are expected to get rain on actual moving day :(

We decided to take half the day off and say a friendly hasta la bye bye Idaho! We spent it going to Idaho Falls and picking up bugs Easter toys, then heading to the Zoo! Tyson and Shawney know a lady that is the penguin keeper at the zoo and they got to invite us along for the day!

Kendyl was so scared of the penguin but by the end I think she warmed up to it. I mean we have been watching Mr. Poppers Penguins the last couple days since it was the only movie that didn't get packed. Seriously this little penguin was SO sweet and she loved to walk us around the park!
We also went on our last hoorah to Kiwi Loco (frozen yogurt) with the neighbors. It has become a tradition that every tuesday night we go there since it is buy 1 get 1 free! I almost cried walking out of there for the very last time!
We are happy to annouce we will be living right across from City Creek in Salt Lake city for the next couple months. Weird to say that we might miss this boring little town, or more the friends we have made here. Well we will be friends forever right!?
Now pray the rain doesnt hit and we can make it out of here on time!

busy busy busy

Well we have had a couple busy last few days and this next week is a pretty busy one as well! I am getting ready for bed just thinking of it!
On Friday we headed to Utah. We got all the way to Idaho Falls (half hour away) and I got a sick feeling that I left my straightner on. We made some frantic phone calls and decided to turn back around. There goes an hour, and to my surprise, it was off. We finally made it to Layton and headed straigh to the most wonderful girls wedding, Kylie Suarez. Seriously she was beautiful and I am SO happy for her. We had family chicken taco night once John got in from Vegas and off to bed. (Were so exciting)
Saturday Kendyl woke up warmer than warm. I just thought please not today, i have a list of people to see and errands to run. Well the tylenol didn't even phase her and all she wanted to do was lay on my chest. We did get some errands done before Trevor went to the dance with the cutest girl! I am so happy I am so close to home so I can not miss this stuff. We headed to dinner for Jases birthday. I just wasnt feeling the dinner, and either was Kendyl.
We got home at 9 and Kendyl immediatley started vomitting. Off to the doc since the med wouldn't work and vomitting. Her temp was up to 103.2. I thought for sure her UTI was back to haunt us. Came back normal, no bad ears, no bad throat.....pretty much just watch her the next few days. UGH seriously! So sorry to EVERYBODY that I didn't get to come and see u guys. I will be down in like 3 weeks so we will catch up then.

We finally made it back to Rexburg for an exciting and stressful week ahead of us.
Jase has quite a few tests with midterms this week. I am going to finish the Lazyman Ironman.
Its Valentines Day. Its Jases Birthday. Kendyl needs to feel better, oh and she is teething! I hope Courtney gets kicked off the Bachelor and I hope Conda gets kicked off Biggest Loser.

Kendyls update* She says no to everything. Even if Mickey Mouse asks her to help in something on tv...its always no. She loves to have "tickets" and have her winning name called out and she throws her hands in the air and yells YAY! She is obsessed with books and stickers. She still loves her bff Brylie right next door. She yelled OH TOODLES the other day. She absolutely loves the Price is Right. She is still a pretty darn good napper. Here are her latest pictures! Enjoy. And we miss everybody back home! :)

Mid January

Here we are in the middle of January and there is yet to be any snow. Good news-its supposed to snow tonight! The wind is pretty chilly and strong and we freeze our noses off each time we go out.
Jase is still up to his neck with homework. He is pretty busy with crazy hard classes. Sometimes I look at his homework and I personally think his professors are nuts! On his off time or break time he loves to do gun stuff. Did I mention his reloading bench is in our bedroom!? If that's not redneck.... He is still a hungry boy that loves to eat constantly. He also is addicted to hummus lately.
Kendyl is growing bigger each day. She is starting to walk a lot more like a big girl. This is meaning her legs are closer together and her arms don't flop all over to balance her. I am thinking more and more each day that she needs a little trimming. I am hoping it will help tame the whispyness. An added bonus is we don't have to keep moving her bangs out of her eyes. Her favorite thing to do is splash in the tub. Not just little splashes, its more like she picks the water up and throws it across the room. She loves to say pretty and loves her new necklaces.

As for me, I'm still the same. I love to look on pinterest and try to have crafting hour during Kendyls nap. I also fit in vacuuming, laundry, dishes, showering and anything else you can think of. I am still doing p90x but since its my second round I'm not as adamant of doing it every single day. I am starting to train for running season so when I skip I am at the gym running my heart out. I am a fan of the new BYU-Idahos gym, and here's a perk-Its FREE! My month of no baked goods or real ice cream is going good. I just keep thinking a little bit more longer. Pinterest has me full on what I want to bake and eat first.

Well here are just 3 pictures of what we have been up to lately!

Kendyl loves her animals so we had circle time with her fun furry friends!

I absolutely love this outfit on Kendyl. She just looks like a little lamby!

Everybody meet Les! This is Kendyls horse that she LOVES to ride and dance to. He has his own stall between the TV and wall. She loves her horse and were glad he doesn't use the bathroom or has to be fed often!

Idaho Begins yet again...

Here we are again for our 3rd year up here. Who said a bachelors degree ONLY took 4 years? I guess it would if you took all the right classes in the first place, didn't transfer schools, and all your credits transfered with no hassle! Anyway Jase is officially in his Senior year and we are SO happy. He would think otherwise with his 19 credit hours. Not easy credit hours, were talking organic chemistry, Weed Ecology, Soils, Family foundations and of course...Wildlife law and enforcement.

Our new humble abode is so cute and homey! It practically brand spankin new. Did I mention I LOVE the brand new front loading washer and dryer. I am just finding things to wash. Our bedroom is a little small, but wasn't small enough for Jase to put his gun reloading work bench in there. Yes, Im sleeping with ammo and powder and bullets and the whole shabang {pictures will come as soon as I unpack and take pictures}.

The weather surprisingly isn't -13. Instead, just like Utah we have been pretty warm. Still too cold to go out running. My lungs kill under 50 degrees. We have WONDERFUL neighbors, they are pretty much our best friends. Their little girl and Kendyl LOVE each other.

Speaking of Kendyl, she LOVES to just walk now. All she does is walk from room to room saying "Doggie" and "Dad". She is the sweetest little thing and were so happy she is feeling better. Turns out she had ecoli from such bad diarrhea. {no, she didn't eat it, it just got backed up} She still loves rolls, beans and bananas. She still loves to dance every chance she hears a beat. She is a little Diva.

Anyway, all in all, Im actually kinda excited to be here in Rexburg. I just wish the bitter cold would come and go and get on with summer!

T dam Marathon

Am I becomming obsessed? I just signed up to run the 10 k. I have 3 weeks to train for this baby. I have to run 6 miles this day anyway, why not get a free t shirt and swag bag out of it!?

I think this is a good motivation in the training for the actual half. Plus it just gives me an idea of what to expect on race day so I can relax and run and not worry about everything else!

Come one come all come run with me!

What we have been up to

We haven't posted much about what we have been up to lately. So here is a quick catch me up if anybody is wondering.
I started work again over at Yellowstone Bear World in the gift shop.
Jase started school again taking many business and finance classes. He gets one Advanced Reproduction class. He has one class at a Dairy farm. Yay for me, I again get to scrub his clothes and get that Dairy stench out of them again.
Kendyl is growing like a weed. In just a few weeks she will be 6 months old. We started her on rice cereal and she still doesn't know what to think. She hates being fed with a spoon. She wont nap when we so badly want her to. She is however so good at staying quiet in bed in the mornings patiently waiting for us to wake up and feed her. She has also learned to squeel so loud. She loves her "Johnny Jumper' and literally cries until we put her in it. She still hates tummy time with a passion. She loves to put her fingers in our mouth and make us blow on them. And she loves a "yelly on the belly" as Jase would call it. (we just yell onto her belly and she just laughs so much).
Rexburg is still so bitter cold. In fact it is snowing as we speak. There is still nothing fun to do because it is SO cold and the wind is just SO bad and chilling. I really can't wait to leave this place. Rexburg is just not my favorite city.
Well thats all for now, 3 more months of this.... countdown is on!

Our 3 day weekend

Alright, We had so much fun this weekend! Friday night we had a "picnic" in our living room and watched the BEST movie ever! If you have never seen it you better find a way to watch it cause we laughed our heads off! So go look for SON IN LAW! Saturday we went to look for elk but it was too foggy so that was a fail. So instead we went to lunch and then went bowling with our friends Cami, Kody and baby Brylie. We had fun! I did come to the realization that I am a horrible bowler. Bring on Wii bowling and I can beat anyone, regular bowling I'm lucky to hit 80!

Here we are Bowling away and Kendyl sleeping like she does best!

She has been such a happy baby lately! I ask her if she want to go shopping and she smiles so big! Then Jase asks her if she wants to hunt and she has no reaction! Ha ha That's my Girl!

And this my friends is our newest addition....

Thank you Renee Jacobsen from Florida who sent this to us! We LOVE it! Best surprise ever getting this in the mail, and its so wild just like us!
Anyway, Jase's school is going great. That's what I say at least... He says "IT SUCKS! well it doesn't really suck...." then he just plays with Kendyl.
Latest Update on Kendyl...she smiles ALL the time. The LOVES the fan, especially when we spin it for her. She loves to watch Baby Einstein. She pooped ALL over my bed. She usually wakes up once a night, but sometimes more.
Then the other day we were driving home from Idaho Falls and she kept spitting out her Binky and crying cause she wanted it back. Finally I said no more you spit it out you have to wait until we get home. She cried for a few minutes then instantly was quiet. I thought maybe she had cried herself to sleep. NOPE! we get home and she is sucking on her monkey. (u can see these monkeys in a car seat picture above. She was trying to eat the monkey! When I tell her she laughs so now its another reason why I love to call her monkey!

Hanging out with Kendyl, and Idaho!

Hey All!
We have finally made it from Elberta, to Ogden, then to Idaho. Moving is such a hassle. Each time we move i swear i get rid of more stuff. When i started out with say 10 mixing bowls (seriously!).... i am down to 3! I just HATE packing and unpacking. We like our new place up in Idaho. Although it has snowed EVERYDAY so far were ok. We joined a gym. World gym for that matter. Between Jillian Michaels Wii and World Gym, were both pretty sore.
Kendyl has reached 2 months old! She weighs 8lbs 10oz. She LOVES to suck her thumb (which is a habbit im trying to break before she loves it). She loves to wake up and just smile all the time! We love the little munchkin so much!

She is getting used to playing "photoshoot" every single day. She is a good sport and mostly sleeps through it. Jase is just getting his feet wet in school and were thinking its gonna be a hard semester. He is SO happy he has a "smart" lab partner in Chemistry. He is excited for his meat science class too. As for me, im loving staying home and hanging out with kendyl all day. I have already watched friends season 7 in one week. I am looking for lots of good easy cheap recipes. So far, i have nothing! :)
